Fantasy Football Waiver Wire and Rest of Season Rankings- Week 7, 2026

4 min read

Your fantasy football season is in make or break territory. The waiver offerings have been hit and miss so far this season, but it is getting close to the time when we need something to give us a spark. If you have gaps in your line-up or going to get hit hard by the bye week, don't be afraid to overpay for a 1 or 2 week fill-in.

It's sad to say, but injuries do make the waiver wire more interesting. We are not injury vultures, we wish those that are injured the best of luck, we are just playing a game and are looking to optimize our chances of winning.

Waiver advice for those who play in more typical home redraft leagues will be published each week. We will look at players owned less than 60% in the most popular formats and rank out in order our favorite waiver pickups broken down by position. Most weeks will also feature our Rest of Season rankings which are THE MOST ACCURATE over the past 5 years.

The Rest-of-Season Rankings are really far more important than the waiver wire rankings. There may be players available in your league that aren't available in most leagues and you can't tell that they are higher ranked unless you check the Rest-of-Season rankings by scrolling down.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Adds

Josh Jacobs (personal) has officially been removed from the Commissioner's Exempt List, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Head coach Mike Macdonald said Monday that Zach Charbonnet (knee) is slated for a "full week of work" and has a "good chance" to play Sunday night against the Chiefs, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said Monday that Lamar Jackson could "potentially" practice in Week 7 and is still being considered day-to-day, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.

The Vikings designated Jordan Mason (thumb) for return from injured reserve Monday.

Minnesota will open Mason's 21-day practice window Monday after the running back missed the team's last four games while recovering from thumb surgery.

Texans head coach DeMeco Ryan said Monday that Tank Dell (knee) is on track to return from injured reserve to make his season debut Week 7 versus the Giants, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Players We Can Drop

When we make waiver claims most of the time we can easily determine who to add, but we struggle with which players to drop. It is very difficult to give-up on a player we thought was worth drafting in the first place. If you are struggling, you should be dropping your questions or concerns in our Discord channel. Don't be afraid of it, I'm over 50 and navigate it fairly well.

Injuries

Jalen Hurts (calf) is expected to be held out of football activities for multiple months and miss the rest of the season after new imaging over the weekend revealed several blood clots in his lungs, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Initially diagnosed with a superficial blood clot after being cleated in the left calf in an Oct. 4 loss to the Rams, Hurts had been cleared by doctors to play Week 5 in the Eagles' loss to the Jaguars before more recent testing last week showed that the blood clot had moved. According to a statement released Monday by his agent, Nicole Lynn, Hurts has now been diagnosed with a deep vein thrombosis in the left calf, as well as bilateral pulmonary emboli. Hurts has gone on blood thinners to treat the blood clots, and while his prognosis is good and he's not expected to face any long-term health effects, he won't be able to participate in football activities until he's off blood thinners. With that in mind, Hurts isn't expected to make a push for a late-season return from injured reserve and will instead turn his focus toward returning to full health in 2027. The Eagles will move forward with Tanner McKee, Cole Payton and Joe Milton as their options at quarterback.

Davante Adams sustained a ruptured left hamstring in Sunday's 18-16 loss to the Cardinals and is slated to undergo a procedure that he hopes will allow him to return a little after the Rams' Week 11 bye, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The Commanders placed Jacory Croskey-Merritt (groin) on injured reserve Monday.

Croskey-Merritt had already been ruled out for Monday's game against the 49ers, but his move to IR ensures that he'll miss at least an additional three contests beyond that. With Croskey-Merritt sidelined through Week 10, Rachaad White looks on track to serve as the Commanders' top option out of the backfield in the interim, while Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols are on hand in complementary roles.

The Patriots placed Romeo Doubs (shoulder) on injured reserve Monday.

Just after welcoming A.J. Brown back from IR in Sunday's 26-19 win over the Jets, the Patriots will have another starting wideout in Doubs land on the shelf for at least the next four games.

Rest of Season Rankings

There aren't many places we can get full rankings that have the rest of the season in mind, let alone rankings as accurate as ours. These Rest of Season Fantasy Football rankings have been THE #1 most accurate over the past five seasons.
