Fantasy Football Waiver Wire and Rest of Season Rankings- Week 15

Your fantasy football playoffs are here!!! Trade deadlines have already past or are looming so all we have left to boost our team is the waiver wire. The waiver offerings have been hit and miss so far this season, but it is time to make some finishing moves.

It's sad to say, but injuries do make the waiver wire more interesting. We are not injury vultures, we wish those that are injured the best of luck, we are just playing a game and are looking to optimize our chances of winning.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Adds

Players We Can Drop

When we make waiver claims most of the time we can easily determine who to add, but we struggle with which players to drop. It is very difficult to give-up on a player we thought was worth drafting in the first place. If you are struggling, you should be dropping your questions or concerns in our FREE Discord channel. Don't be afraid of it, I'm over 50 and navigate it fairly well.

Injuries and other updates:

The Colts are planning to bring QB Philip Rivers into their facility Tuesday to work out to see if he may join their practice squad, per Ian Rapoport & Mike Garafolo. They say this is real. Daniel Jones’ season is over, Riley Leonard will start, but Rivers may be an option.

This cannot be considered a serious organization.

Coach Dan Quinn noted Monday that Jayden Daniels is "sore" following Week 14 action, but added that there are no "long-term concerns" with the QB's left (non-throwing) elbow, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Joint statement from the NFLPA and NFL:

Tee Higgins was evaluated twice in game and cleared to return. After the game, in discussion with club medical personnel as part of a postgame evaluation, he notified the team he was experiencing symptoms and was immediately placed in concussion protocol.”

After missing Week 13 and watching these two blows he took on Sunday, we should probably look at how he was allowed to stay in the game.

Mike Evans (collarbone) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's practice estimate, Greg Auman reports.

Alec Pierce left the final drive of Sunday's loss at Jacksonville with an undisclosed injury, but was not in the concussion protocol despite a broadcast report saying he was being evaluated for a concussion, the Indianapolis Star reports.

HC Dan Quinn confirmed that TE Zach Ertz suffered a season-ending injury in yesterday’s game. It will keep him out for the rest of the fantasy season, and it could potentially be the end of Ertz’s career. John Bates would be the tight end to pick up off the waiver wire, considering he’s played 88 snaps out of 11 personnel this season compared to just Sinnott's 31 and Yankoff's 11.

David Njoku was ruled out after leaving Sunday's loss to the Titans with a knee injury, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. He caught his lone target for one yard and a touchdown.

Previous Injuries and Notes to Remember

Coach Jonathan Gannon said Monday that Marvin Harrison Jr.’s heel injury is similar to the one that kept Max Melton (heel) out of Sunday's loss at Tampa Bay, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports. Gannon also noted that Harrison is "going to see the doc later on here."

Coach John Harbaugh said Justice Hill (neck) will be sidelined 3-to-4 weeks, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

The Packers opened MarShawn Lloyd's (hamstring) 21-day window in which to return from injured reserve Monday, Tom Pelissero reports.

Mike Garafolo reports Lane Johnson suffered a Lisfranc injury in Week 11’s win over the Lions and will miss 4-6 weeks.

Falcons placed QB Michael Penix (knee) on injured reserve.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Penix aggravated a bone bruise and knee sprain he suffered earlier in the season, but also added, “there has been damage to the ACL, which could mean a full reconstruction.”

Falcons coach Raheem Morris said “it’s fair to say [the offense will] look different” with Kirk Cousins as the starter.

Rich Cimini reports Garrett Wilson will miss 3-4 weeks with a knee sprain.

Ian Rapoport reports Jackson Powers-Johnson’s ankle injury “could potentially end his season.” Powers-Johnson has started every game at right guard for the Raiders this season, earning a PFF grade of 63.8 while being one of the few bright spots of an underwhelming group. This is bad news for Ashton Jeanty.

Joe Alt will undergo season-ending ankle surgery, the Chargers announce. This is a severe downgrade for Herbert and the Chargers offense.

Tests confirmed that Packers TE Tucker Kraft did in fact tear his ACL as feared, per source
