Fantasy Football Rankings - Week 4, 2026
Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 3 are likely to look very different between most Fantasy Football sites. Many analysts know not to overreact to what we saw in the first two weeks, but we definitely need to use some of the information to stay Bayesian and adjust or prior predictions. There is tremendous variance in football every week, we just don’t have relevant, applicable data to go from yet. We can use stats from last season, but every team has changed since then, some in very significant ways, on both offense and defense.

Fantasy Football Weekly Rankings
When examining these fantasy football weekly rankings, take into consideration that I am really only looking at positional ranks, not flex or overall rankings. When it comes to who you start in the flex a lot will depend on your specific league rules and roster construction. If players are ranked within 3 spots of each other the difference between them is negligible, they are expected to score the same amount of points, in those cases go with your gut, flip a coin, or join our Discord Channel.
Quarterback
Coach Ben Johnson said Caleb Williams is "getting better every singly day" but won't participate in Wednesday's walkthrough, Sean Hammond of the Chicago Tribune reports. Williams exited a Week 2 loss to the Vikings in the fourth quarter due to a hamstring injury. He was considered week-to-week by Johnson afterward and then didn't practice at all before being ruled out for Monday's game against the Eagles. On Sunday, Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport of ESPN reported that Williams was diagnosed with a Grade 2 right hamstring strain, which is considered to be a 3-to-4-week injury. Johnson told Chris Emma of 670TheScore.com on Wednesday that "the direction has already been made" as it pertains to a Week 4 starting QB this Sunday versus the Jets, but who that may be between Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent isn't known.
Drake Maye was listed with a right shoulder injury on the Patriots' initial Week 4 practice report but was a full participant. Though he took every rep Wednesday and is on track to start Sunday's game in Buffalo, the lingering shoulder injury could at least partially explain Maye's rough start to the season. Maye has been an early disappointment for fantasy managers, completing 63.7 percent of his passes for 585 yards while posting a 1:6 TD:INT and losing a fumble through the Patriots' first three games. A road game against the undefeated Bills doesn't exactly represent a great bounce-back opportunity for Maye, who will face pressure from a Bills pass rush led by NFL sack leader Greg Rousseau.
Lamar Jackson was listed as limited Wednesday due to a back injury, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Jackson wasn't on the field early in Wednesday's practice but later joined his teammates. Coach Jesse Minter downplayed the issue after practice, and now it's official that Jackson is dealing with a back issue. Jackson's status for Sunday doesn't appear to be in jeopardy at this stage, but this will be one to monitor going into the weekend.
Bryce Young (knee) was listed as a full participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports. Young played every snap in this past Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Browns, but he made a visit to the blue medical tent on the Carolina sideline at one point during the contest to get his knee checked out. The knee issue evidently isn't a concern heading into Week 4, when Young and the Panthers will be preparing to face off against a Lions defense that has surrendered an NFL-high 299.3 passing yards per game through three contests. Young will profile as a strong fantasy option this week, even while the status of one of his top pass-catching weapons in wideout Jalen Coker (quadriceps) remains somewhat murky.

Brock Purdy, added another 297/4 plus 34 rushing yards in Week 3.He's the QB2 on the season at 27.0 points per game.
Josh Allen is averaging 15.8 points per game via only rushing so far this year. That alone would rank 21st-best among fantasy quarterbacks right now. It's over four points better than Justin Herbert's full average.
Running Back
Bucky Irving was limited at Wednesday's practice due to a glute injury. Irving missed the final two drives of this past Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Vikings, but coach Todd Bowles downplayed the running back's absence, stating that he won't be on the Buccaneers' Week 4 practice report, per Scott Smith of the team's official site. Instead, Irving has made an appearance on the report, and thus his status will be monitored as the week goes on to ensure that it won't impact his availability for Sunday's matchup with the Packers. Kenny Gainwell and Sean Tucker are the healthy RBs on Tampa Bay's active roster.
Tony Pollard was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice due to a foot injury. Pollard appeared on the Titans' Week 3 injury report due to ankle issue, but he's tending to a different health concern in Week 4. Even so, head coach Robert Saleh told Turron Davenport earlier Wednesday that he doesn't think the injury is anything that will affect Pollard's status for Sunday's game against the Ravens. Through the Titans' first three games, Pollard has yet to record a touchdown and has carried 38 times for 173 yards while adding six receptions for 22 yards on seven targets.
The Steelers ruled Rico Dowdle (toe) out for Thursday's game in Cleveland, Brooke Pryor reports. Dowdle will miss a second straight game after he was unable to practice in any fashion on a short week. With Dowdle out of the mix again, Jaylen Warren looks primed to handle a workhorse role out of the Pittsburgh backfield, after he logged 56 of 62 snaps and handled 20 touches (17 carries, three receptions) for 176 yards in a 30-27 win over the Bengals last week.
Coach Mike Macdonald said Wednesday that Zach Charbonnet (knee) may take part in Thursday's practice, which would open a 21-day window in which he can be evaluated and eventually be activated from the reserve/PUP list, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports. Charbonnet suffered a torn ACL in the divisional round of the playoffs back on Jan. 17 and underwent surgery in February, but he's made quick work in his recovery and technically will be eligible to return as soon as Week 5 if his practice window is opened this week. More than likely, the Seahawks will take their time with Charbonnet once he's back on the practice field, but it appears as if he'll be able to suit up for games that matter sooner than later. In the meantime, Jadarian Price will continue to lead the Seahawks backfield, with Emanuel Wilson and George Holani on hand for RB reps as well.
With De'Von Achane's season-ending ACL injury, many people are wondering about Jaylen Wright and Ollie Gordon. Given the state of the MIA offense, the answer is probably neither, because both players will be sharing a bad role. If we have to choose the pick is Wright as a waiver wire add due to his pass catching upside.
