Fantasy Football Rankings - Week 3, 2026
Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 3 are likely to look very different between most Fantasy Football sites. Many analysts know not to overreact to what we saw in the first two weeks, but we definitely need to use some of the information to stay Bayesian and adjust or prior predictions. There is tremendous variance in football every week, we just don’t have relevant, applicable data to go from yet. We can use stats from last season, but every team has changed since then, some in very significant ways, on both offense and defense.

Fantasy Football Weekly Rankings
When examining these fantasy football weekly rankings, take into consideration that I am really only looking at positional ranks, not flex or overall rankings. When it comes to who you start in the flex a lot will depend on your specific league rules and roster construction. If players are ranked within 3 spots of each other the difference between them is negligible, they are expected to score the same amount of points, in those cases go with your gut, flip a coin, or join our Discord Channel.
Quarterback
Adam Schefter reports Jaxson Dart’s knee injury is “worse than initially thought” and the team is now “facing the possibility of season-ending knee surgery.”
Bears HC Ben Johnson said he does not think Caleb Williams (hamstring) will practice this week. While he doesn’t expect Williams to practice this week, Johnson did not rule out the possibility of him playing in Week 4, next Monday night against the Eagles.

Jayden Daniels (elbow) underwent imaging and he and the team will “consult with a variety of experts” over the next few days. As soon as we hear "second opinion" it means the first one was REALLY bad.
The Ringer’s Tom Pelissero reports Marcus Mariota is expected to start in Week 3 against the Seahawks.
Falcons named Michael Penix as the starter for Week 3 against the Packers. Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) returned to practice on Tuesday.
The Ringer’s Tom Pelissero reports Kyler Murray has cleared concussion protocol and will start in Week 3 against the Buccaneers.
Seahawks HC Mike Macdonald said Sam Darnold (glute) is on track to practice this week.
Running Back
D'Andre Swift has 40 touches through 2 games. That's a 1,981 total yard pace, small sample, but the workload is very real.
Bhayshul Tuten is dominating the JAX backfield right now, through 2 games he has 28 carries and 3 catches for 150 total yards. It's not massive usage, but in a good offense, he should deliver low-end RB2 production with that workload.
Steelers RB Rico Dowdle, who was carted to the locker room on Sunday with a toe injury, checked out relatively OK following tests. He's considered to be day-to-day.
